Crafty Ladies’ Christmas Bazaar

Save the date!

The Crafty Ladies’ Christmas Bazaar will be held Friday, December 4, 11 am – 7 pm and Saturday, December 5, 10 am – 4 pm.  The sale will consist of unique handmade gifts and decorations.  There will also be a bake sale, the proceeds from which will go to support local families in need.

Glorification Singers in Concert November 14

NSUMC will host The Glorification Singers in concert on Saturday, November 14. We welcome all in the community to enjoy an evening of Christian music by one of Eastern Long Island’s favorite groups. The doors will open at 6 pm, and the concert will begin at 7 pm. Tickets are available now: $10 for adults, $5 for students, children five and under, free. Sermon: “Hovering over Troubled Waters”

Thrift Shop Celebrates Five Years, Honors Volunteers

TS celebration 1The Thrift Shop Team hosted a festive lunch for the congregation on Sunday, September 27 to celebrate the shop’s five successful years, to honor the volunteers who keep it running smoothly, and to acknowledge the congregation’s support.

The Thrift Shop ministry began in March 2011 with the primary purpose of “recycling” gently used goods to people in our neighboring communities at bargain prices. Men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing is always in great demand. The shop also offers housewares, small appliances, jewelry, books, games and puzzles, and a variety of other items.
