Sunday, January 21, 12 pm in the Sanctuary: Adult Bible Study with Pastor Hal.  We will explore the different types of prophecy, Biblical and non-Biblical.  Meets every 3rd Sunday of the month.
Monday, January 22, 5 pm: Our Maureen’s Haven dinner at Our Redeemer Lutheran in Aquebogue. We invite others to join us to help! Speak with a team member for details.
Wednesday, January 24, 12 pm: Lunch Bunch.  Join us for food and fellowship. Dessert and beverages provided. Bring your own main course. All are welcome.
Friday, January 26, 7 pm: Video Game Night for families of Autism.  Speak with Pastor Hal for more information.
Sunday, January 28, 12 pm: Topics in Methodism with Pastor Hal. Join as we explore the role of art and symbolism in Methodist worship.
Saturday, February 3, Hampton Bays UMC or Saturday, February 10 at Westbury UMC; both start at 8:30 am: “Disciple to Disciple” (D2D) Training–training for all church members, especially committee chairs and members. D2D is a wonderful (and annual) opportunity to learn about the purpose and duties of Finance Committee, Staff/Pastor/Parish Relations Committee (SPPRC), Trustees, etc.  Don’t miss this very useful and important training for individual church committees! It’s free! Just call the LIE District Office, 631-366-2396, or email liedistrict@nyac-umc.com to give your name so we can provide adequate refreshments, including lunch.
Saturday, February 17, 8:30 am – 4:00 pm: Emergency Response Team (ERT) Training–training for certification to become a member of an ERT. You must be at least 18 years old and submit to a background check. To register, call the LIE District office, 631-366-2396, or email liedistrict@nyac-umc.com

  • Financial Pledges for 2018 Pledges Are Due Now.  It’s not too late to make a financial pledge. Pledge cards are available in the narthex.
  • Interested in a unique volunteer opportunity? Join Pastor Hal for a monthly worship service at Acadia Nursing Home in Riverhead for the residents. Background checks are required—speak to Pastor Hal if you’re interested.
  • Men’s Socks for Maureen’s Haven!  Our ongoing collection of men’s socks continues from now through March! Please donate if you can, and invite others to participate.  Thanks.
